Membrane Switches and Membrane Keypads

VisionMark has the capability to manufacture membrane keypads in our Sidney, Ohio plant and in cost-competitive off shore sources. Both VisionMark and our production partners register their quality management systems to the ISO 9001 standard. We provide custom membrane switches to a variety of industries including electronic instrumentation, medical equipment, material handling equipment and industrial controllers. These OEMs require membrane switches that withstand difficult environments including, abrasion, UV radiation, solvents, and moisture. VisionMark makes membrane switches for the tough jobs.

Selection of membrane switch materials directly affects the durability of the switch. Polycarbonate provides easier fabrication, but results in a less durable membrane switch design. We recommend polyester membrane switch overlays for longer life, more actuations, and better resistance to difficult service conditions.
